Planning Your Drive to Hood River

We can't wait to celebrate with you! If you are driving up from the Portland area on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, please note that active construction on I-84 and around Hood River is causing lane closures and traffic delays.

The drive normally takes about an hour, but we highly recommend buffering your travel time by an extra 30 to 45 minutes to ensure a stress-free trip.

If you are heading straight to our Saturday event, we suggest leaving Portland by 3:15 PM at the absolute latest to comfortably arrive at the Hood River Hotel by 5:00 PM.

Safe travels!

For those of coming from out of town, you will want to fly into PDX. The Hood River Hotel is located about one hour from the airport and as of this writing, we think the best move is to rent a car.

For our out of town guests and family, please plan on being at the Hood River Hotel by Friday 7/17/26 4:00pm. There is a rehearsal dinner Friday and plan to leave Sunday. There is a Sunday morning brunch to see you off.

We have a hotel block of the Hood River Hotel and will be providing our out of town guests and family with lodging. Rooms have been secured, so there is no need to secure lodging.

PARKING

The parking lot is called MT. HOOD. RAILROAD PARKING, the address is 110 Railroad street. There are QR codes at every parking spot to pay via your phone and we also have the QR codes in our lobby for topping up if needed. I believe it is $15/day.

For street parking it is free from 6pm-8am every day and free on sundays!

For unloading we have a loading zone in front of our hotel!
